Papertrey 5th Anniversary Day 1

Today is the beginning of Papertrey's 5th Anniversary celebrations.  Already on Day 1 there is an amazing giveaway.  Each of the Design Team members has given a list of their fovourite PTI products as well as a little bit about their personal experience as a Design Team member.  We have been asked to select one of the Design Team members and create a project inspired by them.

I have been in love with Background Basics: Circles this past few months.  This set was created by Maile Belles whose Clean & Simple style I adore.  I created a very CAS card inspired by Maile.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Hibiscus Burst, Pure Poppy
Stamps:  Background Basics: Circles, Heart Prints
Ink: Spring Moss, Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Dies: Heart Prints

Very nice! Your design leads the eye down to the hearts and the 'XOXO's, very clever with minimal elements!

Perfect CAS card Tracey! The little circles are a subtle background for the hearts. I was able to leave a comment for the 1st day of the anniversary festivities, but no card :( Oh well maybe I'll be able to play along this week ;)

This is a wonderful card. Very much in the style of Maile. If my prize set of background basics circles EVER arrives, I'll CASE this one!

Ugh, I passed on the circles background stamp thinking I wouldn't use it much. But you make me think I could use it all the time! This card is so lovely - so simple and pretty. It's perfect. ;-)
